altalt Goran Pandev and Inter beat CSKA Moskva in the 1st leg of the Champions League quarterfinal, while Mirko Ivanovski has a new manager as his team Slavia Praha decided to make a change after a run of poor results.

UEFA Champions League, Inter - CSKA Moskva 1:0
Goran Pandev started for Inter at left wing in a 4-2-3-1 formation.  Pandev had his first chance in the 22nd minute with a dangerous shot from distance that was just over the goal.  He did okay in the 1st half but was much more active in the 2nd half where he had a ton of chances but his finishing let him down.  In the 62nd minute, Pandev would of had a great chance to score but him and Diego Milito were not on the same page and Milito's pass was off the mark.  A minute later, Pandev was set up by Wesley Sneijder and attempted a left footed shot from just outside the box but his shot was saved by the CSKA Moskva keeper.  In the 70th minute, Pandev waited too long to shoot and his shot was eventually blocked from close range.  Two minutes later, Pandev showed great skill and got around the keeper but his shot didn't have much power and it gave CSKA defender Vasiliy Berezutski enough time to clear the shot and prevent Pandev from scoring his first Champions League goal for Inter.  Pandev's final chance came in the 90th minute with another shot from distance but again the CSKA Moskva keeper made another save.  Inter will be disappointed with the result as they dominated the match and should of scored more goals.  Pandev was substituted just seconds before the referee blew the final whistle.  The return leg will be on Tuesday, April 6 in Russia.

France, Ligue 1, Monaco - Auxerre 0:0
Robert Popov was not among the 18 players called up by Auxerre.

Romania, Liga I, Braşov - Cluj 0:1
Dusan Savić got the start for Braşov and played the first 45 minutes but he was substituted before the start of the 2nd half.  The lone goal of the game was scored by Cristian Bud in the 19th minute.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Germinal Beerschot - Racing Genk 1:3
Tome Pacovski was an unused substitute for Germinal Beerschot as they gave their 17 year old keeper Thomas Kaminski a chance to start.  These last couple of games are not important for Germinal as they didn't finish in the top 6 so they have no chance to qualify for the Champions League or the Europa League.  They are just playing for pride so Germinal will give their young players a chance to play and gain some experience.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Lokeren - Cercle Brugge 5:3
Igor Gjuzelov stayed on the bench for the entire game.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Basel - Sion 4:3
Aleksandar Mitreski remains out with an injury for Sion.

Austria, ÖFB Stiegl-Cup, Magna Wiener Neustadt - LASK Linz 2:1
Mensur Kurtisi played until the 56th minute for the home team when he was replaced by Diego Viana.  The game was tied at 1:1 after 90 minutes so it went into extra time where Magna scored the game winner in the 100th minute through Alexander Grünwald.

Czech Republic, 1. Gambrinus Liga, Baník Ostrava - Slavia Praha 3:1
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Slavia Praha before he came on in the 34th minute replacing Vitali Trubila.  Slavia were losing 2:0 when Mirko entered the game and they immediately scored in the 35th minute with a 25 meter missile by Petr Trapp to cut the Baník Ostrava lead to 2:1.  Baník Ostrava put the game away in the 65th minute when they scored to make it 3:1.  Ivanovski was fairly quiet the rest of the way and received a yellow card in the 69th minute.  Riste Naumov did not play because of an injury.  This would be the last game for manager Karel Jarolím who was let go after Slavia suffered another loss.

Czech Republic, Ondrášovka Cup, Slavia Praha - Sparta Praha 1:0
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench and came on in the 90th minute replacing Stanislav Vlček.  This was the first game for Slavia Praha under new manager František Cipro.

Hungary, Hungarian Cup, Nyíregyháza - Debreceni 0:4
Mirsad Mijadinoski did not play for Debreceni.

Poland, Unibet 1. Liga, Ostrowiec - Widzew Łódź 0:2
Dejan Miloseski was an unused substitute for the visitors.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Pirin - Chernomorets 1:3
Dragi Kocev played the entire game for Pirin while his Macedonian teammate Zoran Zlatkovski played until the 82nd minute.  Zlatkovski had a good chance in the 55th minute as he did well to get around a Chernomorets defender on the right flank but his shot was saved by the keeper.

Bulgaria, Bulgarian Cup, Beroe - CSKA Sofia 1:0
Igor Mitreski was not called up by CSKA Sofia.  Mitreski says he is hurt but the CSKA manager said all the tests have come back normal and he thinks that Mitreski no longer wants to play for CSKA Sofia.  It's uncertain when Mitreski will return but there is a strong chance that he will never put on a CSKA uniform again.  His team was eliminated from the Bulgarian Cup with the loss.

Bulgaria, Bulgarian Cup, Chavdar Etropole - Slavia Sofia 4:2
Robert Petrov has missed the past couple of games for Slavia Sofia because of an injury but he did make the bench for this game.  This game was tied at 0:0 after 120 minutes but Chavdar Etropole defeated Slavia 4:2 in the penalty shootout.  Petrov stayed on the bench for the entire game.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Örebro - Mjällby 0:2
Daniel Ivanovski was an unused substitute for the visitors.

Slovenia, 1.SNL, Koper - Olimpija 1:0
Agim Ibraimi was suspended for this game because of yellow cards.

Germany, Regionalliga West, Bochum II - Kaiserslautern II 1:1
Goran Slavkovski did not play for Bochum II.

Greece, B Ethniki, Agrotikos Asteras - Ilioupoli 3:0
Dejan Blazevski started and played until the 84th minute for the home team.
