This has been Scotland's manager George Burley third game since he took charge of the Scottish national team but he still haven't won a match. When we are talking about Scottish managers, it is worth noting that ex-Scottish manager Craig Brown (in charge from 1993-2002) was in Luxembourg to watch the friendly match between the hosts and our national team.

Netherlands, our 10th of Sep opponent, visited Russia yesterday and though they were leading for big part of the match, in the end they had to satisfy themselves with a 1-1 score.

Norway hosted Republic of Ireland yesterday and they did drew as well. The final score of this match was 1-1 after they were down by 1.

Iceland hosted Azerbaijan and they have finished the list of group 9 teams who drew on yesterday's friendlies.Azerbaijan took the lead, but 10 minutes later Iceland equalized and the final score of this match was, once again, 1-1.
