Gibraltar squad announced

The national team coach of Gibraltar has announced the provisional list of players with whom he will face Macedonia in the opening round of the UEFA Nations League.

Uruguayan manager Julio César Ribas Vlacovich is the new national team head coach of Gibraltar and will have his debut against Macedonia in the first round of the UEFA Nations League. Also, Gibraltar will for the first time play a competitive match at home at the Victoria stadium. So far Gibraltar has only played friendlies at home, while the EURO and World Cup qualifiers had to host in Portugal.

Julio Ribas summoned 29 players in his provisional squad. Later the list will be reduced. Three days after hosting Macedonia, Gibraltar visits Liechtenstein.

Gibraltar will face Macedonia on 6 September at the Victoria stadium in Gibraltar. Macedonian coach Igor Angelovski will reveal his squad on Wednesday.
