The two wins followed by a defeat weren’t enough for Macedonia to move any places despite gaining some points.

Beating Georgia 1:0 away in the 2020 EURO play-off and Estonia 2:1 at home in the Nations League brought Macedonia only 6 points on the newest FIFA raking lists, enough only to stay at the 65th place. The 1:0 defeat by Armenia on the road probably did the damage.

This ranking will be used to determine the pots for the upcoming draw for UEFA zone of the 2022 FIFA World Cup that will take place on 7 December. Macedonia will be in Pot 4.
