FIFA and UEFA mediate in FFM’s rift

 Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski embarked upon a mediation mission to bridge the differences in the long-standing rift in Macedonian Football Federation. Early on Friday, Gruevski met with the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation and a member of the FIFA Association Committee, Grigory Surkis for talks on the perspective of the Macedonian football.

{mosgoogle} Afterwards, the premier met with the two disputing parties in the national football federation, led by Haralampie Hadziristevski from one side and Emil Bozinovski from the other. Gruevski urged both sides to bridge the differences and to put efforts into affirmation of the country through the game of football, instead to focus on their personal interests,  PM's Cabinet announced.
