The young Macedonian striker found a new club in Turkish side Eskişehirspor where will continue his career.
Agim Ibraimi, who turned 22 on 29th of August, signed a 3-years-long contract with the Turkish Süper Lig club Eskişehirspor from the city of Eskişehir. Ibraimi was a free agent since the termination of his contract with the Slovenian club Olimpija from Ljubljana. He started his career as youth player in Shkendija 79 from his native city of Tetovo, but developed as a player in Austrian well known club Red Bull Salzburg.
At Eskişehirspor it won’t be easy for him to gain a place in the first eleven because the squad has already good attackers in 19-years old Turkish national team player Batuhan Karadeniz, than Nigeria-born Bahraini scorer Jaycee John and former Galatasaray star Ümit Karan. Anyway, it is good for the Macedonian football that this talented player found a club in the quality Turkish league where he will have a chance to improve his skils. His new club is currently at the 17th place from 18 clubs with 1 point after 3 rounds played.
Ibraimi is currently with Macedonian national team for which he has played 2 games and stil is waiting for his first goal.
