Boban Jancevski has been chosen as best player of the Macedonian First League for the 2006/07 season. He won on three different polls organized by MacedonianFootball.com, the daily sports newspaper "Makedonski Sport" and on the joined poll by the daily newspaper "Dnevnik" and the "Sportsko Radio 90.3" 
After the disappointing result from the match against Israel, the daily Macedonian sports newspaper "Makedonski Sport" made an article with the opinion of four former coaches of the Macedonian national team: Nikola Ilievski, Gjoko Hadzievski, Dragan Kanatlarovski and Gjore Jovanovski. 
The Macedonian Football Federation has canceled the South American tour. Macedonian national team with combined team and under the name of Macedonia B leaded by Misad Jonuz was supposed to play friendly matches against Peru and Venezuela on 13th and 17th June.

Vardar won the Macedonian Cup final with the 2:1 win over Pobeda. The cup final had an expected outcome, so the boring match with no big effort and thrill passed with the lowest interest ever. Vardar canceled their chances for bigger success in the First League this season, but the trophy in the cup final was a heal for their wounds and it came as an acknowledgment from Pobeda for their support for Pobeda's campaign for their 2nd title in the Macedonian league.
