Not many have heard of Proleter from the village of Tumchevishte near Gostivar, formed in 1981. But now the football fans will hear this name as this team for the first time in its history will play on a third level.
More known Vrapchiste, former participant in the 2.MFL (2012/13 and 2013/14), was favorite to win the title and get back in the third league. However, Proleter was determined for a historic success right from the beginning of the season. In the first encounter between the two teams, Vrapchishte was host. Proleter was leading with a lone goal when the hosts attacked the referee in the 74th minute which later lead to a green table points for the visitors. The two met again two round before the end entering the match with 16 points each. Proleter won 2:1 thanks to the goals scored by Robertino Zlateski and Zoran Radicheski with the last coming ten minutes before the final whistle. Vrapchishte previously had equalized from the spot through Rufat Chelik before the break.
One round is yet to be played, but with Vrapchishte being idle as they have played all matches and Proleter being better in the head to head encounters, the village of Tumchevishte celebrates its footballers who did a stunning success as next season they will face the likes of Napredok, Ljuboten, Arsimi, Zajazi and one of Drita and Vardari.
The standing before the last round:
The teams of Sermnova and Iliria 92 played only the first half-season.
Only one match is left to be played in the last round. Proleter visits Liria in the village of Raven and will try to conclude the season undefeated.
