 Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team named the squad for the friendly match away to Montenegro. Katanec continued in his style and called up only 18 players with only one new name in the squad.
Even though it's a friendly match for testing new players and tactics, Srečko Katanec continued in his style and announced the 18 players list for the upcoming friendly match against Montenegro. Everybody expected some changes with the squad and it was expected the squad list to include the names of Filip Ivanovski - one of the leading strikers in the Polish league and inform Ivan Trickovski from Crvena Zvezda. But again, the list had no space for more than 18 players and the only new player is the midfielder Dejan Miloseski from Lithuanian club FK Vėtra Vilnus. Defenders: Igor Mitreski (FC Energie Cottbus, GER), Vlade Lazarevski (Polonia Warsaw, POL), Nikolce Noveski (1. FSV Mainz 05, GER), Boban Grncarov (Maccabi Petah Tikva, ISR), Aleksandar Vasoski (Eintracht Frankfurt, GER), Daniel Mojsov (Makedonija Gjorce Petrov), Goran Popov (Heerenveen, HOL). Midfielders: Vlatko Grozdanoski (FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, SER), Darko Tasevski (PFK Levski Sofia, BUL), Vanco Trajanov (FK Chernomorec, BUL), Velice Sumulikoski (Ipswich Town FC, ENG), Dejan Miloseski (FK Vėtra Vilnus, LIT) Strikers: Goran Pandev (S.S.
