Once again, Srečko Katanec the coach of the Macedonian national team, repeated the same mistake by calling only 18 players for a friendly match which should serve as match for testing new players and tactics.

Same as the matches before, Srečko Katanec decided to call up a squad of 18 players with Ertan Demiri as the only new name. But today, Demiri informed that because of an injury he will miss the match. The Macedonian Football Federation announced that no new players will be called, so the Macedonian national team will have to travel with only 17 players away to Luxembourg for the friendly match on 20th August.
