The Macedonian 2nd League season 2008/2009 started on the national holiday Ilinden with yesterdays matches. First round and first incident. The match Belasica - Madzari was suspended on half-time. Ohrid made the biggest upset with the away victory against Kozuf, while Bregalnica Stip destroyed Lokomotiva with 4:0. Here are the results:

Cementarnica 55 - Miravci 3:2
Drita - Nov Milenium 3:1
Kozuf - Ohrid 2004 1:2
Lokomotiva - Bregalnica Stip 0:4
Novaci 2005 - Skopje 0:2
Sloga Jugomagnat - Shkendija HB 0:0
Teteks - Vardar Negotino 1:1

The match in Strumica between Belasica and Madzari was suspended because the away players were attacked on half-time. The Macedonian FA will decide about this match in the next few days but most probably it will be awarded a 3:0 win to Madzari Solidarnost.
