The return legs of the cup semifinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday. Rabotnicki is visiting Makedonija Gj. P. after the first scoreless match and Nov Milenium will try to achieve the 'impossible' after first leg's 4-0 defeat against Milano.
Makedonija Gjorche Petrov - Rabotnicki Kometal
Rabotnicki are already crowned champions for this season and in order to win the 'double-crown' will have to win over Makedonija Gjorche Petrov. The first match ended 0-0. But, the hosts only remaining chance for a European cup performance in next season is via the cup, so it is absolutely certain that we will see a great match on Wednesday. Both teams were resting several important players for Round 30 from the league and while Rabotnicki lost to Pobeda 2-0, Makedonija won over Vardar 0-1. Rabotnicki have never won the cup in their history, while if Makedonija wins this season's cup it will be their second title. Referee for this game will be Dimitar Meckarovski - the referee who was on the first leg as well. His assistants will be Shirilov Igor and Safet Ademi, the latter being once again, just like Meckarovski. Nov Milenium Susica - Milano Kumanovo The visitors have noted impressive win in the first leg. The final score was 4-0. That is why it is rightly that they should be considered as clear favorites for the second leg and advancing to the final. It is absolutely the biggest success in the hosts' history this semi-final. Never in the macedonian football history a lower division club have played in a cup final and it looks like this season will be no exception. However, the hosts must not give up before the match and they should try to surprise Milano. Referee for this match will be Petkovski Zoran and his assistants will be Novacev Petar and Spirkoska Vesna. Both matches start at 16.00 CET. It is worth mentioning that if the result from the second leg is identical after 90 minutes as with the one from the first leg, there will be no extra-time. Teams will approach to penalty-shootouts. |
