A day before Easter, Round 29 from the first league will take place. Needless to say, most of the attention will be on Gradski, where we will see another edition of the all-time derby between Vardar and Pelister.
On Gradski, the battle for the 3rd place will be at its highest peak. Despite Vardar's current problematic situation, it looks like it has not affected on the players yet and we are about to see a great game once again. The match was supposed to be played at 13.00 CET, but it is rescheduled for 16.00 CET. Whoever wins the game, will certainly have bigger advantage in the last 4 rounds for a Euro-Spot. Pelister are in good form, have always scored in the last 6 matches and have scored 6 goals in the last two. Vardar, in the last two rounds have noted two wins over two teams that are also fighting for European Visa and I beleive all these mentioned factors are a reason big enough to see the biggest derby in Macedonia at its best. In 13.00 CET Rabotnicki will host Renova on Gradski and has a chance to confirm the title. With a win over Renova, Rabotnicki will celebrate the title with 4 rounds to go. The hosts have noted the first defeat of the season in the last round away to relegation-struglers Bashkimi, while Renova have entered the battle for Europe and has most probably lost their chances at the same time, after losing 2 consecutive matches and are on -7 behind Vardar. In Kumanovo, Milano looks like a favourite over Pobeda. Milano have managed to win over Renova in Tetovo, while Pobeda are on a free-fall in their form. Lost heavily to Pelister and lost to Vardar at home. They've probably lost their chances for exit in European stages, while Milano would certainly like to confirm the big success in the first season as a first-league team and seal the 2nd place. Makedonija Gjorche Petrov will have a clash against Shkendija. The hosts are only a point above the 9th place and everything except a win when playing at home might mean falling to the play-out zone. Shkendija, after recent problems, have found themselves on the last place on the table and relegation is very near to them. They are only 4 points behind the 10th place, but considering they are hosts in Ohrid, they will have to take something on the visits as well. Sileks against Cementarnica in another bottom-of-the-table match. Sileks holds 9th place currently - a place that would lead them to a play-out match against 4th placed team from the second league. Cementarnica are sharing the last two 'direct-relegation' spots together with Shkendija. A great battle is expected in Kratovo, where we know that the hosts play good football, but the visitors must not be underestimated as their desire for victory is very big. In Kicevo, Napredok will be facing Bashkimi. The hosts are currently in a 'safe' position, but only 1 point above Sileks and after the great match against Shkendija last weekend they would have to repeat something similar against Bashkimi as the visitors are also threatened by the relegation and want this win badly. Small fact that is worth mentioning - this matchday will be the teams' third in just one week. Check the odds in the online bookies Bwin, 10BET, Bet-at-home and PinnacleSports.com.
