After the big Winter break, the Macedonian First football league started this weekend. There were no big surprises and there were no changes on the standings after the 19th round was completed.
With a comfortable 4:2 win in the local derby against Bashkimi, Milano Kumanovo opened the 2nd part of the season. Milano's best scorer Ivica Gligorovski scored twice and the newly signed Sasko Krstev and Borce Manevski scored the other two goals for Milano. Ersen Sali and Jeton Kerimi scored the goals for Bashkimi.
Rabotnicki Kometal won very hard 3 points on the hot pitch in Tetovo. The much strengthened squad of Shkendija, supported by their big group of supporters, failed to surprise the leader Rabotnicki. Serbians Nemanja Milisavljevic and Lazar Stanisic scored both goals for Rabotnicki in the first half, while Muhamet Huseini only lowered Shkendija's defeat in the second half.
Third placed Vardar was expected to win easy points against relegation candidates Cementarnica, but the win came harder than expected. In a not so interesting match, both teams had only few good chances and the only goal was scored by Borce Ristovski after the mistake of Cementarnica's goalkeeper Grosev.
Pelister and Renova played interesting match in Bitola. The guest were close to surprise after Genc Iseni took the lead in the first half. In the second half both teams continued with attacking and the hosts managed to equalize the score with Zoran Simonovski's goal from free kick in the 75th minute.
Sileks managed to surprise and continue the agony of current champions Pobeda. The only goal on the match was scored by Gorgi Zarevski in the last moments of the first half.
Makedonija continued with their poor results away from home. On a slow match with only few chances, Napredok won very important points in the fight for avoiding the Play-out zone. The only goal was scored by Goran Naumovski in the 78th minute.
