 Several players from Macedonia had their duties with football clubs round Europe.
Most of the attention goes to Velice, Popov and Goran Pandev. Velice Sumulikoski wasn't amongst the starting 11 for his Ipswich Town, but he entered the game in 60th minute. Unfortunately, Ipswich lost 1-2 at home against one of the direct rivals for a play-off spot. Robert Popov was watching whole game from the bench and his Auxerre won 3 very important points against Rennes away from home. Goran Pandev played 90 minutes for Lazio, but Empoli was better and won with 1-0. Oka Nikolov was once again between the posts for his Eintracht Frankfurt and they won 2-1. Aleksandar Vasoski didn't played on this match. Igor Mitreski played 90 minutes for FC Energie Cottbus against Bochum in a very exciting game. The final score was 3-3. Noveski didn't played for his 1. FSV Mainz 05. and they lost 1-2 at home against SpVgg Greuther Furth. Riste Naumov scored a goal for his Ethnikos Achnas in Cypriot first division, but that was far from enough as his team lost 5-1. Jane Nikolovski had a succesful match. He defended the goal for APOEL and they've won over Olympiakos from Nicosia with 4-0. Milosevski was the another macedonian goalkeeper that played a march in Cyprus this weekend but his Enosis Neon Paralimni FC lost at home 0-1. Gilson Da Silva that played for Pobeda has switched to Albanian side Beselidhja this winter and he has scored a goal in a match that ended 2-2. It is also worth noting that Vlatko Grozdanovski scored his first goal for Vojvodina in a friendly match against Slovenian Publikum. Goce Toleski, Slavia Prague's striker, scored the winning goal in a friendly match.
