Squad problems for Katanec

After making the mistake with calling only 18 players for a friendly match, Srecko Katanec and the Macedonian national team are now facing squad problems with only 16 players available for the match against Serbia. The new player in the Macedonian national team, Ivan Trickovski from FK Crvena Zvezda, will probably miss the match because of an injury. Ilco Naumoski was the first player who was removed from the squad because of an injury and after Katanec recalled the midfielder Jancevski, Macedonia is left with only 3 striker. Goran Pandev, Aco Stojkov and Goran Maznov are the available strikers and Pandev is not expected to play the whole 90 minutes because of tiredness. The last bad news came from Germany, where Igor Mitreski's BMW jeep was stolen together with his documents and he is not able to come to Macedonia. So now Macedonia is left with only 16 players available for the friendly match against Serbia on Wednesday.
