ilco naumoskiAccording to the English medias, Middlesbrough and Sunderland are battling over £2m-rated Macedonia striker Ilco Naumoski who plays his club football in Austria for SV Mattesburg.
The 24-year-old was watched in action by a number of clubs when scoring for Macedonia against Croatia at the weekend. Previously the English club Reading was interested in signing him and this weekend scouts from numerous English clubs were on the "Gradski" stadium in Skopje to watch him play for the Macedonian national team.
Ilco Naumoski is born on 29/07/1983 and is 191cm tall and weights 85kg. As very young and talented player he began his career in the Austrian lower league clubs SV Stockerau and  ASK Klingenbach. In 2002 he moved to Grazer AK (GAK) where he won the Austrian league and Cup in 2004. After the dispute with his coach he was loaned to the Turkish Malatyaspor and the Italian Serie B team Catania Calcio. In 2005 he moved back in Austria in Mattersburg. This year Ilco Naumoski was named in the Austrian Bundesliga team of the season. Ilco Naumoski is regular member of the Macedonian national team since 2002.
