Round 14 is next in Macedonian football championship. The derby between Milano and Vardar played today in Kumanovo ended with 1:0 for the hosts. In the other matches we should see good game in Tetovo between Shkendija with the new coach and Pelister. In Gjorche Petrov, Makedonija will host Renova and on Gradski the leader will meet Cementarnica. High-scorers Bashkimi will play against the champions and in the mid-table derby Napredok is hosting Sileks.
The current leaders Rabotnicki had an easy cup victory over Pelister in a midweek game. They are now hosting Cementarnica. On first sight, this looks like easy home win. However, the visitors have nothing to lose and will certainly come on Gradski to fight. But, if the hosts manage to break the deadlock early in the game, we can see another excellent performance by currently the best team in Macedonia.
A lot has been discussed for Bashkimi in the recent weaks. Two championship games and one cup game played by them ended with more than 7 goals on a game. If we have in mind, that the bookies always pays much for such a bet, than maybe even further investigation should be made. However, in this round they will certainly have one tough opponent. The champions Pobeda are visiting Kumanovo, and Pobeda looks like they finally escaped from the crisis they had with the high victory over Makedonija in the last round.
Pelister had disastrous defeat against Rabotnicki in the cup and will certainly be looking forward to forget that. However, they will have far from easy job. Shkendija will be up for the game, as they have new manager in charge once again this season. Edmond Miha is the new man in charge. It is widely known that it is hard to play in Tetovo, but Pelister were succesful once in the last season and managed to return with 3 points from the tough visit. It will definitely be interesting game to watch.
Napredok and Sileks will be fighting for a better place on the table in Kicevo. One more attractive game betwen solid squads who know how to play tough, defensive football. Both teams will probably try to save their own goal first, rather than attacking and risking to concede a goal.
Makedonija Gjorche Petrov will be hosting Renova, and will be trying hard to forget the last bad performances by them. But Renova also hasn't been shining lately and after the hiring of the new manager, we must see a different team. This is worth watching surely, and all we may say is - let the better team win.
