The clash between Pelister and Pobeda looks like one of the most interesting games this weekend. The 'neighbours' derby has always been attraction to fans, and in front of packed 'Tumbe Kafe' stadium this should be football holiday in Bitola. It is their 51st meeting and certainly the hosts would like to go against the tradition.
In all their mutual matches, Pobeda were more succesful especially in Prilep, but in Bitola games have always been tight and very interesting. Tommorow Pobeda will be the team would like to forget all the unhappy moments from the game against Ilinden and the early exit from Macedonian cup 2007/08. Pelister is in great form winning at home, as well as away from home, and will have their captain back for this game. Pobeda will be with the new signings Manevski, who will have one tough visit as he's from Bitola and should've played for Pelister this season. Macedonianfootball.com gives some advantage to the home team, but in derby like this any result is possible, so the draw cannot be excluded also. Vardar and Renova make one more interesting fixture in round 7. Renova has always been 'bogey' team for Vardar and are more succesful than them in their last 6 meetings. But things are not the same as previous seasons and certainly it is Vardar who should be favored here, especially after Renova's weak games recently. However, this is always going to be one of those amazing games, so with the odds that are offered by the online bookies for Vardar, better stay out of chasing the home win. Sileks is hosting Makedonija Gjorche Petrov in Kratovo after both teams had dissapointing results in last round. Sileks still hasn't won at home and this might be the time to please its' fans. But, it won't be easy at all. Makedonija are strong team and would really much like to forget the loss against Pelister in the last round and get back on winning tracks once again. Another tough to predict game, where we might see tight game and low number of goals. Cementarnica 55 has a 'must-win' situation in front of them after only collecting 1 point in 6 rounds. Bashkimi is the next opponent and although they started badly, they are now in-form and have collected 7 points out of 9 possible in the last 3 rounds. Cementarnica has stronger team than the table and results suggest, and we will see real fight for the points in 'Kisela Voda'. Tight game, maybe not a lot of goals, and tough to predict outcome once more. Top of the table Milano visits Shkendija in order to confirm their great start of the season and the first place on the table. Shkendija has started badly, and will have to turn things around in order to save the season. They will have one hard mission as the leader Milano is very strong and knows how to win away from home. Yet, with the great fans behind its' back Shkendija might hope for a draw in Tetovo. Another pretty much unpredictable match, so macedonianfootball.com will advise a bet but with low stakes on the draw or the away win. All the games are played on Sunday at 15.30 local time, except for Napredok - Rabotnicki game, which will be played on Tuesday at 15.30 due to Rabotnick's UEFA cup game against Bolton.
