After calling only 18 players for the 2 important EURO 2008 qualifying matches against Russia and Estonia, the problems started to occur for the coach Srecko Katanec, so he is forced to make changes. Goce Toleski the striker from Czech FK Most is back in the team, after Stevica Ristic got injured on his last match. Stevica Ristic the striker of the Macedonian national team got injured in the last match for his club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the Korean league. After making the mistake of calling up only 18 players for the next 2 matches, the coach Katanec was forced to make changes on only few days before the first match away to Russia. Goce Toleski will be the player to substitute Ristic. Goce Toleski already has big experience with international matches. The 30 years old striker has 16 caps and scored 1 goal for the Macedonian national team. This season he moved to the Czech club FK Most where he already scored 5 goals in 5 league matches.
