Round 5 has been marked by the impressive Vardar victory over rivals Makedonija Gjorche Petrov. 4-1 was the final score and this round congratulations go for the red-black team. The fans at 'Gradski' stadium in Skopje saw an entertaining game and must be pleased by the performance of their favorite team.

Vardar have been playing great throughout whole game, and not even for moment this result was questioned. They've produced the better play, had more chances, and most deservedly won such convincingly. On half time break they were already up by 2 goals, and on the beginning of the second half Vardar have confirmed the victory by scoring 2 more goals. Makedonija only managed to score one goal which was far from enough for making damage to Vardar today.

Bashkimi made the biggest surprise stealing a point from Renova. Both teams had good chances and it was the hosts who opened the score first with an early goal. Right on the beginning of the second half, Bashkimi equalized, and though Renova have been trying hard tobreak the stalemate in front of Bashkimi's goal the FT result was 1:1

Milano's dream is coming true after playing scoreless draw away from home at Sileks. After 5 rounds, they are on top of the table, with one point advantage over Rabotnichki(a game less played) and Vardar. The game in Kratovo was rather boring one and draw is the most realisitic score in such game. Both teams concentrated a lot on defense, and 0-0 was the result at full time whistle.

Napredok have earned the first victory of the season with the two goals scored from penalty kicks against Shkendija. The hosts were the better opponent and deservedly have won 3 points. Shkendija wasn't much of a challenge for the hosts, though the hosts have played the last 10 minutes with a player less.

Pobeda is the only visiting team that returns home with all 3 points. They have won 0:2 at Cementarnica 55. The champions played better and the promoted team couldn't resist the attacks by them. 3 deserved points by Pobeda with one goal each half, in one not very exciting game.

In Tuesday, at the "Pod tumbe kafe" stadium in Bitola Pelister will be hosting Rabotnicki in the last game of round 5 after which we will see the official standings after five played round from Macedonian football championship season 2007/08.
