The Macedonian Football Federation is finishing the negotiations with the Nigerian Football Associatiation for scheduling a friendly match that will be played on Wednesday, 22 August 2007 on the "Gradski" stadium in Skopje.

The Macedonian Football Federation and it's coach Srecko Katanec had difficulties finding and choosing the right opponent for a friendly match. But now it's almost sure that Macedonia will host Nigeria - the 25th ranked team from the FIFA ranking list. Leaded by the famous German coach Berti Vogts and full with big football names, the Nigerian national team will be very good test as last check before the EURO 2008 qualification match against Russia. Beri Vogts accepted the invitation and it's expected the negotiations to be finish in the next few days.
