Because of the national team break that follows, this round’s matches were scheduled to be played on Saturday instead of Sunday in order for the players to have a day more of rest.
After twelve years Belasica and Vardar faced each other in a top division match. Their clashes used to be real derbies since in the early 2000s they fought for the title on two occasions.
After a goalless first half Vardar took the lead just two minutes after the break. It was a Brazilian-Ukrainian cooperation since Juffo took a free kick from right that ended with Novak heading the ball into the net. Belasica equalized in the 58th minute through Baldovaliev on an assist by Gorgiev.

The hosts took the lead fro0m the spot in the halfway through the first half, but Shkendija equalized ten minutes later also from a penalty kick. In the last minute before the break Ibraimi scored his second bringing the lead to the current champions.
