The runners-up battle ended with Vardar and Akademija Pandev splitting the points, Rabotnichki stunned Shkupi away, Makedonija GjP smashed Pobeda, Sileks disappointed Belasica’s fans by celebrating in Strumica, while leaders Shkendija defeated Renova.

Second-placed Vardar hosted third-placed Akademija Pandev in a direct battle for the runners-up position at the table. A mid first-half goal by Avramovski gave Vardar the lead that the Red and black team has was maintaining until five minutes from time. Who else but the Academy’s best player Doriev scored an equalizer preventing Vardar to escape on plus five. This battle remains open as Pandev’s lads have yet to play the postponed match against bottom-placed Pobeda.

Belasica welcomed Sileks in a match that was a must win for them in order to catch the direct rival for avoiding relegation. The Lions easily defeated doomed Pobeda. A minute before break goal by veteran striker Kirovski broke the visiting defense so after the break its was easier for Makedonija Gjp to double the lead. Before they added they added a third. Both second half goals were scored by Brazilians.

Holders Shkendija had a tough task in inform Renova today. National team defender Bejtulai was the most evasive in the box after a corner kick in the 34th minute, However, just four minutes later Sadiki equalized with a header after his team’s corner kick. The winner came after the break thanks to injury returnee Radeski.
