1.MFL overview of Round 2 (Video)

Borec missed a chance the be the only remaining perfect team as just after two rounds none of the 12 teams managed to to win twice. Rabotnichki, Shkendija, Vardar and Shkupi celebrated this round as Belasica and Akademija Pandev recorded their second defeats, while Pelister got a draw away at Sileks.

Main title candidates Shkendija clinched their first three points this season. With one goal in each half they defeated relegation favorites Struga thanks to Totre and newcomer Doriev.

Borec was minutes away from taking the table lead alone, but an unlucky own goal by Stoimenovski just a minute from time allowed Renova to head home with a point after Radović previously gave the lead to the hosts.

First seasonal win for Vardar who defeated Akademija Pandev on the road. It was just another match in which Goran Pandev’s club failed to find the back of the net and got punished. First, in the 61st minute young keeper Alchinov played with hand outside the box and got booked for the second time, therefore way for 17-year-old debutantes Filip Tupalov. Twelve minutes later Matej Cvetanovski was brought don in the home box by Tomislav Iliev and substitute veteran attacker Blazhevski converted the penalty.

In their second home match Shkupi recorded the first win. It was 1:1 when Ademi collected his second yellow card and left Shkupi with 10 men, but instead Make4donija GjP to seize the occasion they conceded twice allowing the hosts to collect the points.

In the lone match scheduled for Saturday, Rabotnichki recorded their first win, while Belasica their second scoreless defeat. The host were far better throughout the entire match and could have scored more goals, but at the end Gjurgjevikj’s brace was enough for the first points.

Sileks and Pelister actually opened this round on Friday. Since Sileks has a Champions League qualifying match on Tuesday, they asked and Pelister agreed their match to be moved. The visitors broke the deadlock after just 6 minutes, than the hosts turned the result in their favor before Tanushev with a great free kick goal set the final result.
